Care Instructions - Rectangular Windsor Beds
Cleaning Instructions to Remove Stubborn Stains
Blot the stain gently with a paper towel to absorb excess residue. Apply a few drops of water directly onto the stained area. Use eco-friendly soap and lather it onto the stain, working in circular motions toward the centre. With a clean cloth, gently rub in circular motions to lift the stain. Add a few drops of water to rinse away any remaining soap. Press a paper towel firmly onto the area to absorb moisture. Repeat the process as needed until the paper towel comes away dry.
Cleaning Instructions for Pet Hair and Dirt
To remove pet hair, use a cloth or a lint roller. For dirt like mud or stains, dampen the area with water and gently blot using a paper towel. Allow the item to air dry completely.
To ensure the longevity and effectiveness of this fabric, we recommend minimising frequent washing of the bed or bed covers. Following the maintenance guidelines provided above will help keep the fabric in excellent condition until washing becomes necessary. Please note that the fabric's advanced technology may gradually lose effectiveness with repeated washing. Alternatively, consider using a portable handheld upholstery cleaner with an eco-friendly, pet-safe mild detergent (avoiding fabric conditioner) for occasional cleaning instead of relying on machine washing. This approach will help preserve the fabric's quality and functionality.
Care Tips for Your Dog Bed
To ensure your dog bed remains in excellent condition, we recommend the following:
Air the bed frequently by flipping it over and giving it a thorough shake to maintain its shape and comfort. Treat the bed as you would a pillow—plump the sections to keep it looking and feeling fresh. Follow the cleaning instructions provided to keep the bed hygienic for your furry companion. For your pet’s comfort and to protect the bed, place it in a warm area, away from cold floors. This helps prevent condensation, which could lead to damage. Many of our beds feature a shower-proof base to shield against moisture. However, if placing the bed on a hard surface, consider using a perforated or moisture-wicking mat underneath. This encourages airflow and further reduces the risk of condensation. By following these simple steps, you can ensure your pet enjoys a cosy, long-lasting bed while keeping it in top-notch condition.
